historic hat-making town since the 17th century. Pure merino wool hoods made by
Laulhère in France are expertly modified, lined, and finished in Germany.
Distinct from any other beret at South Pacific Berets, the
Baskenmütze with external rim features a small felted-wool rim at the opening
that lifts the beret slightly. Combined with two air vents, it allows natural
airflow over the scalp, making it exceptionally comfortable. A sized headband
and an unusually pleasant lining complete the design.
