Onibegie® is an environmentally friendly fabric dyed with natural plant-based
pigments. The company discovered that onion skins could colour synthetic
fibres, and today combines them with ingredients such as olive leaves, grape
pomace, rice husks and bamboo charcoal to create beautifully rich, natural
shades.
Unlike conventional dyes, these plant-based pigments produce
colours with subtle depth that continue to develop character as the fabric
ages.
